| 1000 Books Before Kindergarten | The Cambridge Public Library invites all pre-kindergarten children and their families to read 1000 Books Before Kindergarten and begin a lifetime of learning and fun. Get a free tote bag when you sign up and earn your very own books with each milestone met. |

Newborns living in Cambridge receive a packet of board books and resources. The Library sends these packets a minimum of six months after a baby’s birth. Co-sponsored with the Agenda for Children Literacy initiative.

We are eager to make our resources accessible to teachers and students. With advance notice, children's librarians can set aside materials relevant to a project or assignment and request additional materials as well. We can also help your students navigate online resources and databases.
