- Fill it up. Line your kitchen bin with a compostable bag. Keep your bin on the counter or under the sink. Fill it with food scraps and food-soiled paper while preparing food and cleaning up after meals.
- Drop it in. (Lock it!) After 3-4 days, tie the bag off and drop it in the compost cart. Lock the cart to keep critters out.
- Set it out. Bring your cart to the curb on the same day as your trash & recycling.
- Repeat.

3. Keep it cool. In the summer, store food scraps in the refrigerator or freezer. Store curbside compost bin in the shade.
