caution sign The information on this page may be outdated as it was published 8 years ago.

UPDATE:

As part of the Trenchless Rehabilitation Program for sewer and stormwater infrastructure, the city’s contractor, Insituform, will continue to clean and inspect sewer and stormwater system piping and manholes during the week of February 29, weather permitting. Work hours are 7am to 4pm.

A high pressure jet machine will be used to clean sewer and stormwater pipes prior to an internal inspection conducted with a specially designed camera. Following these inspections, the next phase of the work, which is to install structural liners into the pipes, will be scheduled. These liners will provide a new structurally sound pipe without the need for excavation.

Below is a list of streets where sewer main cleaning and inspections will be conducted the week of February 29. No Parking signs will be posted at least 24 hours in advance. Please check daily for No Parking signs. Police officers will be on site to assist with vehicle and cycling traffic and pedestrians.
