In observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday on Monday, January 18, city offices, including all library locations, will be closed. There will be no curbside collection service and payments at parking meters and parking pay stations will not be required.
Curbside collection of trash and recycling will be one day behind schedule for the rest of that week. Compost collection is still suspended. For a list of compost drop-off locations, visit
https://www.cambridgema.gov/Services/curbsidecomposting/compostdropoff. Street cleaning and yard waste pickup are suspended for the winter season and will resume in April. The Cambridge Cemetery at 76 Coolidge Avenue will have the gates open from 7 a.m. until dusk on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, however, the Cemetery Administrative Office will be closed.
COVID-19 testing at the City's testing sites will occur as scheduled on January 18.
