City of Cambridge Closures and Service Information for Veterans' Day Holiday Thursday, November 11

In observance of the Veterans’ Day holiday on Thursday, November 11, City of Cambridge offices, libraries, and senior centers will be closed and payments will not be required at City of Cambridge parking meters and parking meter pay stations. Additionally, the offices at Cambridge Cemetery, 76 Coolidge Avenue, will be closed on the holiday, though the gates will be open from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Curbside collection of trash, recycling, compost, and yard waste will be suspended on the holiday and one day behind schedule for the rest of that week. Regularly scheduled street cleaning routes for Thursday, November 11 will be swept on Friday, October 29.

The city's COVID-19 testing site at CambridgeSide mall, 100 Cambridgeside Place, will be open on Thursday, November 11. Please note that beginning Monday, November 1, this testing site will transition from drive-through only to walk-in testing inside the mall on the 3rd level on Mondays, from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. and Thursdays, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. For more information about COVID-19 testing, visit Cambridgema.gov/testing.
