Orange Trash Truck

In observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday on Monday, January 17, City of Cambridge offices, libraries, and senior centers will be closed. There will be no curbside collection service and payments at parking meters and parking pay stations will not be required.

Curbside collection of recycling, compost, and trash will be one day behind schedule for the rest of that week. Street cleaning and yard waste pickup are suspended for the winter season and will resume in April. The Cambridge Cemetery at 76 Coolidge Avenue will have the gates open from 7 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, however, the Cemetery Administrative Office will be closed.

Curbside collection of un-decorated Christmas trees ends on Friday, Jan. 14, 2022  on your regular curbside collection day. Residents can also bring bare trees to the Cambridge Recycling Drop Off Center, 147 Hampshire St., during open hours, Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:00 - 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. through Jan. 29, 2022.

Free COVID-19 testing at the city's testing sites will occur as scheduled on Monday, January 17.  For more information about COVID-19 testing, visit Cambridgema.gov/testing
