East Middlesex Mosquito Control Project (EMMCP) staff will be placing larvicide in Cambridge catch basins starting Monday May 15th for control of mosquitos that may carry West Nile Virus. This pesticide is classified as low-risk toxicity to humans, other mammals, fish bees and birds.

The EMMCP staff should be on bikes wearing vests placing a pink dot on the grate as each basin is treated.
