Curbside collection of trash, recycling, compost, and yard waste will be one day behind schedule for the remainder of that week. Street cleaning will also be suspended on the holiday and the makeup street cleaning day will be Wednesday, July 10 for streets that would normally have been swept on the first Thursday of the month.

As part of a national celebration of Public Works Week, the Department of Public Works (DPW) Commissioner Kathy Watkins and other City officials recently honored the recipients of the 2024 Commissioner’s Award for Outstanding Performance during a ceremony and cookout at the DPW yard.
