Greater Cambridge Energy Program Open House October 22

Flyer for Greater Cambridge Energy Program Open House

Eversource has scheduled the first Pre-Construction Open House for the Greater Cambridge Energy Program. The in-person Open House will be held Tuesday, October 22, drop-in hours will be 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Pioneer Room, 355 Main Street, Kendall Square. The Pioneer Room is accessible via the Kendall Public Lobby (between 355 and 325 Main Street) and via the public alley called Pioneer Way. Members of the project team will be there to answer any questions and to review project details and next steps.

This program is a first-of-its-kind transmission system initiative that facilitates access to clean energy resources so that customers will continue to have reliable power to meet their energy needs. Construction is expected to kick-off in early 2025 in Cambridge and will include a new underground substation as well as new underground electric transmission and distribution lines. Similar events will be held in Somerville and Allston-Brighton in 2025 prior to work starting in those communities.

All are welcome to attend. View full flyer here.
