NOTICE: Night Work, Traffic Detour and Bus Stop Relocation
Two important phases of work are coming up on Concord Avenue, as we begin the roadway reconstruction process. For more information, click here.
- Phase 1 – Starting Sunday, August 30th, there will be NIGHT WORK at the intersection of Concord and Huron Avenues between the hours of 8pm-5am, with one-lane traffic through the intersection. Work zones will be up to approximately 50 feet away from the intersection, except towards St. Peter’s, which will be approximately 120 feet away from the intersection. This work is anticipated to be complete by Friday, September 4th.
- Phase 2 - Starting September 8th, all outbound traffic on Concord Avenue (including all MBTA busses) will be detoured during construction, from the hours of 9am-4pm. Normal traffic patterns will be restored at 4pm. This traffic detour and the temporary bus stop relocations will remain in effect through October 30th.
