ROADWAY PAVING NOTICE
JFK Street from Mount Auburn Street to Winthrop Street
Mount Auburn Street from JFK Street to Eliot Street
September 10 through September 13, 2015
The City’s contractor, Mattuchio Construction, will perform roadway pavement repairs on JFK Street and Mount Auburn Street on Thursday, September 10 through and Monday, September 13, 2015. Work hours will be 9 AM to 4 PM. This work will restore the base paving in the area damaged by the water main leak last week.
Vehicle access in and out of properties will be limited during work hours while crews perform the roadway paving. This operation will also cause traffic disruption. Please plan vehicle trips accordingly.
Project Schedule:
- On Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday, September 10-13, crews will make roadway pavement repairs.
- Final placement of top course pavement will be scheduled for a future date. We will distribute an additional paving notice confirming the date.
What to Expect During Roadway Reconstruction:
- There will be lane restrictions and detours in place. Please see the attached map for details.
- “No Parking” signs will be posted 24 hours in advance of the work; please be sure to check dates/times.
- Emergency vehicles will have access at all times.
