As the City continues to recover from Winter Storm Grayson, Public Works is reviewing street and sidewalk conditions to ensure safety for all users. We understand there are locations where bus stops, sidewalks, streets, and bike lanes require further attention, and we will be targeting them during our ongoing snow removal operations over the next several days.
With the amount of accumulated snow and extreme cold temperatures this weekend, there may be areas that can’t be addressed until warmer weather returns next week.
We all have a shared responsibility for safety, and over the next few days we ask that all users remember to share the roadway, go slow, and use extra caution to be aware of pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles.
Know of a street, bike lane, or sidewalk that needs clearing? Use the Commonwealth Connect app or report online at
www.CambridgeMA.gov/CommonwealthConnect. Our crews will be checking reports and addressing locations when crews are available. We all have a shared responsibility for keeping our community safe and accessible during winter weather. For you, your neighbors, people with strollers or using wheelchairs, and the many people in Cambridge who walk, please do your part.
