City of Cambridge Closures and Service Information for Indigenous Peoples' Day Holiday Monday, October 14

In observance of the Indigenous Peoples' Day holiday on Monday, October 14, City of Cambridge offices, libraries, and senior centers will be closed, and payments will not be required at City of Cambridge parking meters and parking meter pay stations. The offices at Cambridge Cemetery, 76 Coolidge Avenue, will be closed on the holiday, though the gates will be open from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Curbside collection of trash, recycling, compost, and yard waste will be one day behind schedule on that week. Street cleaning will be suspended for the holiday and previously occurred in advance on September 30 for streets that would normally be swept on the second Monday of the month.

Trash and recycling schedules and routes can be found at CambridgeMa.gov/curbsidecollections.

Street cleaning schedules and routes can be found at Cambridgema.gov/streetcleaning.

Reminders related to the above city services are available by text message, email, or by downloading the “Zero Waste Cambridge” app for iPhone/Android. Users can also register for street cleaning reminders, city notifications and emergency alerts, and subscribe to city newsletters, such as the Daily Update, at CambridgeMA.Gov/Subscribe.
