Project Review and Discussion
- BZA Telecommunication Facility (Antenna) Special Permit Application – 1350 Massachusetts Avenue
The Applicant (AT&T) is proposing modifications requiring a BZA Special Permit. The modifications include replacing (12) antennas with (12) new antennas in nearly the same location, replacing (6) remote radio heads with (6) remote radio heads in nearly the same location, replacing certain cabling with new cables, add rectifiers, remove existing diplexers and TMA, and remove and replace certain equipment in AT&T's existing rooftop equipment shelter. BZA Special Permits within the Harvard Square Overlay District require review by HSAC.
General Business
- A Continuation of the Discussion on Opportunities and Challenges to Pedestrianization in Harvard Square
Chair Simitis will facilitate a discussion of the Committee members to continue discussion from HSAC's walking tour to process what was heard and to formulate a consensus about points of enthusiasm, agreement, or concern, as well as shared goals for approaches to piloting pedestrianization in Harvard Square.
Hold for members of HSAC to share relevant information about Harvard Square.
