CDD's environmental and transportation planning division has created a sustainability dashboard to track the progress of climate, transportation, and energy goals. Drawing on years of strategic planning and data analysis, the dashboard uses charts and graphs to provide clear overviews of Cambridge's progress related to:
- Sustainable commuting
- Municipal energy use
- Municipal greenhouse gas emissions
- Community greenhouse gas emissions
- Bike facilities
- Hubway memberships
- Car ownership
- Solar power capacity
The dashboard encourages the community to play an active role in advancing these goals by providing actions that the public can take to engage in sustainability solutions.
Additional datasets related to citywide sustainability goals will be incorporated into the dashboard in the coming year.
