On Monday, March 2, 2020, the Cambridge Community Development Department and Human Rights Commission will convene a public listening session on fair housing in Cambridge.  This is the second of two listening sessions – the first was held on November 13, 2019.  All members of the Cambridge community are encouraged to attend this event to share their experiences with fair housing in Cambridge.

The information gathered at the listening session will help the City better understand barriers to fair housing.  Community input will be incorporated into an Analysis to Impediments of Fair Housing Choice – a component of the City’s 5-year Fair Housing Plan – so that these issues can be considered as part of planning for use of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funding in future years.

The Fair Housing Listening Session will begin at 6 p.m. at the Valente Branch Library, Program Room, 826 Cambridge Street.  Childcare and Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) will be provided.  No RSVP necessary.
