Inclusionary Housing Waiting Pool

The Cambridge Community Development Department, Housing Division continues to accept applications to fill affordable apartments for low- to moderate-income households through its Inclusionary Housing Rental Program. Applicants in need of a studio or one-bedroom are strongly encouraged to apply given that units are becoming available.

Preliminary applications are added to the waiting pool on an ongoing basis to fill vacant units.  Preference is given to Cambridge residents. For family-sized apartments, preference is given to Cambridge residents and households with children.

Middle Income Housing Waiting Pool

The Housing Division continues to accept applications through its Middle-Income Rental Program and is now filling available units. 

This Middle-Income Rental Program is designed for households earning between 80% and 120% of Area Median Income (AMI).  Preliminary applications are added to the waiting pool on an ongoing basis to fill available units.  Preference is given to Cambridge residents and households with children. 

Twenty-six new apartments are are now available at Prism, a new building in Kendall Square. Other Middle-Income apartments filled through this program are located in mixed-income, privately owned and managed apartment communities located in Central Square and Kendall Square.
