The Cambridge Community Development Department's Vacant Storefront Creative Design Contest program aims to energize neighborhoods and support local artists by filling empty storefront windows with reproductions of local artwork. Over 200 original art works were submitted to the contest by artists of all ages.
A jury has selected 15 semi-finalists, which are currently displayed in an online gallery.
The community will select the six (6) winners designs through voting in a People’s Choice Poll, open through Friday, April 28, 2023 at 5:00pm.
To vote online, click on the People's Choice Poll survey
Winning designs will be displayed in vacant ground-floor storefronts throughout the city and their artists will receive a one-time honorarium of $1,000.
