Temple Place Apartments

Temple Place

The Cambridge Housing Authority (CHA) constructed Temple Place Apartments, located on Temple Street in Central Square on the site of the Cambridge YWCA's former pool building. Temple Place Apartments contain 40 one- and two-bedroom high-quality apartments for low and moderate income families and individuals. The six-story building has been designed to maximize energy-efficiency and contains a range of features designed to improve livability and environmental sustainability. Built on land leased to the CHA by the YWCA, the CHA's project completed the final stage in the modernization of the YWCA's overall complex in 2016, the first phase of which was completed by the YWCA in 2012 with the successful renovation of its 103 housing units, commercial, and program space.

Construction was completed and building completely occupied in 2016. No further updates will be made to this project page.
