Homeowner Education
The City of Cambridge in collaboration with Massachusetts Affordable Housing Alliance (MAHA) offers a course for new condominium owners twice a year in Cambridge. The course reviews the rights and responsibilities of condominium owners, and helps owners in planning for maintaining their unit and common areas and elements, and manage their investment in their home. With the special nature of condo ownership, this class is recommended for all condo owners. The following topics are covered:
- Property Management and Maintenance
- Financial Management, Budgeting, Insurance
- Legal Structure of Condominiums
- Foreclosure Prevention
This course is required for all homeowners who purchased their home with a ONE Mortgage, but is also open to all condominium owners or those considering buying a condominium.
Condo Class dates for 2020 have not yet been scheduled. This page will be updated when the class is scheduled and registration is open.
