Lunch Meals at the Cambridge Senior Center

Cambridge seniors enjoy lunch at the North Cambridge Senior Center Grand Reopening Event

The Council on Aging partners with Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services to offer hot, nutritious meals at both Senior Centers. Cambridge residents age 60 and older, their spouses, and dependents with disabilites are welcome to join us for lunch!

Cambridge Senior Center (806 Massachusetts Ave.)

  • Hot, nutritious lunch meals are served Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. 
  • Lunch is cooked on-site on Tuesdays
  • Lunch is catered by City Fresh on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
  • A cold Grab-N-Go lunch is available to take home

To reserve or cancel a meal, please call 617-349-6047 two days' in advance of your reservation or cancellation. A suggested, voluntary donation of $3.00 is appreciated.

North Cambridge Senior Center (2050 Massachusetts Ave.)

  • Hot, nutritious meals are served  Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  • Lunch is catered by City Fresh
  • A suggested, voluntary donation of $3.00 is appreciated

Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services (SCES) offers a variety of nutrition and meals service, including congregate meals and Meals on Wheels home delivery, for adults age 60 and older. To learn more, visit the SCES Meals and Nutrition Services webpage or call 617-628-2601.

Cambridge Food Resource Guide

The Cambridge Food Resource Guide provides a list of local community meals, food pantries, and other resources. The guide is maintained by Cambridge in Motion, a division of the Cambridge Public Health Department. It is available in Amharic, Arabic, Bengali, Chinese (Simplified), English, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, and Spanish.
