caution sign The information on this page may be outdated as it was published 1 year ago.

International Mother Language Day is celebrated around the world on Feb. 21 to honor cultural diversity. There are over 90 languages spoken at Cambridge Public Schools and we want to share them.

To celebrate these languages, Cambridge Mayor Sumbul Siddiqui's office, in collaboration with Cambridge Rindge and Latin School’s South Asian Club and the Media Arts Studio, Cambridge Arts, and the Cambridge Public Library invite community members to submit poems in their native languages, along with English-language translations, for display at the Cambridge Public Library branch locations and City buildings.

Submit poems to the Mayor's Office via mail, in-person (795 Massachusetts Ave.) or online by Feb. 6, 2023: https://bit.ly/CambridgeIMLD
