Community Schools provide a network of neighborhood based services offering educational, cultural, social and recreational opportunities for all age groups. We work with residents and local institutions to provide services and activities that enhance learning, creative expression, health and foster a sense of community.
Operating in every public elementary school, Directors work with their Neighborhood Councils to assess community needs and design quality, cost effective Out of School Time programs.
During the school year, Afterschool Enrichment classes for children, two extended day partnerships with the Schools and vacation camps and programs are provided for children.
During the summer, we offer full and partial day licensed Summer Camps and Arts in the Park Programs.
Community Building Events and Programs/Activities for Adults, Seniors and Families are offered throughout the year.
