We prioritize keeping you well-informed at each stage of our hiring process. This section provides a comprehensive
overview of the steps involved in the City's recruitment and selection process. Please note that the hiring process
in the City is decentralized and if you are selected for an interview you will be contacted by the Hiring Department
directly.
Step 1: Apply
To view a list of all current job openings, visit our Job Portal. Interested applicants will be able to create and update an online
profile and apply for job openings. After submitting an application, applicants will receive an email confirming
that it has been received.
Step 2: Interview
Individuals selected for an interview will receive communication from the Hiring Department to arrange either a phone
screening or a panel interview. In many cases, there may be multiple interviews held prior to an offer being made.
Depending on the role, application processes can vary a little. Some may include assessments or short presentations,
for example.
Step 3: Offer & Acceptance
After the completion of all interviews, the most qualified candidate will receive a contingent offer of employment.
Upon the candidate's acceptance of the position, the job posting will close online and all applicants will be
automatically notified that the position has been filled.
