Description

Please join Mayor Marc McGovern, the City of Cambridge, and Wee the People, for a kid-powered celebration of Loving Day, the annual nationwide event honoring the Supreme Court's 1967 Loving v. Virginia ruling banning all laws against interracial Marriage. 

First Came Love, Then Came Protest
June 8 at 11 a.m., Central Square Branch Library, 45 Pearl St.
Join us for an interactive story time, sign-making activity, and kids' march to Cambridge City Hall for a celebration on the lawn.

City Hall Celebration on the City Hall Lawn
June 8 at approximately 1 p.m., 795 Mass. Ave.
The celebration will start at 1 p.m. and will include a reading of the resolution, food, cake, and live music.

This program is presented in partnership with the Office of Mayor Marc C. McGovern, Cambridge Citizens Committee on Civic Unity, Wee the People, Myrish Spell, and Seacia Pavao Photography.
