The Cambridge Police Department is currently seeking applicants for its next Cadet class. Designed for Cambridge residents between the ages of 18-23 years old who have an interest in serving the community and potentially pursuing a career in public safety, the Cambridge Police Cadet Program offers a competitive hourly wage ($19.77), 37.5 hours a week, strong benefits, vacation time, and many opportunities to learn about the department and a career in public safety. The deadline to apply for the next Cambridge Police Cadet exam is Friday, June 28, 2024.
In advance of the application deadline, Cambridge Police will host an information session on Monday, June 10, 2024, from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. The session will be in-person at the Cambridge Police Department, Community Room, at 125 6th Street in Cambridge. During the session, residents can get more information on the application, hiring, and selection process.
