Application Evelyn & Angel’s, LLC Yalonda Howze, Manager, has applied for a common victualer license to be exercised at 1702 Massachusetts Avenue. Said license if granted would allow food and non-alcoholic beverages to be sold, served, and consumed on said premises with a seating capacity of 20. The proposed hours of operation are 7:00am to 11:00pm seven days per week.
Disciplinary Winding Road, LLC d/b/a Abigail’s, James Ludwig, Manager, holder of an all alcoholic beverages as a restaurant license at 291 Third Street due to a request from the Fire Department because of violations of: 527 CMR 11.02-Failure to comply with the requirements of adopted reference standard NFPA 96-2008; 527 CMR 11.03(2)-Failure to have entire exhaust system inspected in accordance with NFPA 96; 527 CMR 10.13(2)(d)- Failure to comply with crowd manager requirements.
Application Tatte Bakery, LLC d/b/a Tatte Bakery & Cafe, Tzurit Or, Manager, has applied for a common victualer license to be exercised at 101 Main Street. Said license if granted would allow food and non-alcoholic beverages to be sold, served, and consumed on said premises with a seating capacity of 32. The hours of operation will be 7:00am to 8:00pm Monday through Friday and 9:00am to 6:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Applicant is also applying for an entertainment license to include streaming media.
Application Legal Sea Foods, LLC, holder of three all alcoholic beverages as restaurant license located at 5 Bennett Street, 5 Cambridge Center and 20 University Road has applied for a change of beneficial interests. Richard W. Anderson will be replacing Jan A. Miller on the Board of Managers of the LLC.
Application On behalf of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology, non-profit corporation, a student group has applied for an exemption to the Attorney General’s Regulation 940 CMR 13.00, which prohibits gaming. Applicant is also seeking exemption from the Cambridge Rules and Regulations with regard to the entertainment/gaming policy prohibiting casino nights, passed March 23, 2006.
Application Veritas in the Square, LLC d/b/a Hotel Veritas, Christopher Slomiak, Proposed Manager, has applied to transfer the all alcoholic beverages as a hotel license currently held by Veritas at Harvard Square, LLC d/b/a Hotel Veritas, Christopher Slomiak, Manager, at 1131 Massachusetts Avenue.
Application Belltree Veritas, LLC d/b/a Hotel Veritas, has applied for an innholder’s license at 1131 Massachusetts Avenue for 31 rooms and is seeking exemption from the requirement for having a resident manager. Applicant is also applying for an entertainment license to include music below conversation level and a TV.
Policy The Board of License Commissioners will consider a temporary amendment to the flat rates to the airport for approximately three months, commencing December 27, 2013. The taxicab industry is requesting meter only during this time period. This is due to the closing of the Callahan Tunnel for repairs.
