Cultural nonprofits active in Cambridge now have a little more time to turn in their applications for the
Create Cambridge: Arts Nonprofit Recovery Grant, which offers COVID-19 Recovery Grants ranging from $6,000 to $30,000.
Applications for this grant are now due on April 26, 2024, at noon. The grant application can be found at

Arts and cultural organizations have suffered a loss of over $30 million in revenue due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Of all the cities in Massachusetts, Cambridge is second only to Boston in total lost revenue (source: Mass Cultural Council COVID impact survey by city).
Create Cambridge applicants must provide documented proof of need. And to receive funding organizations must offer public cultural programming in Cambridge every year, maintain year-round operations in Cambridge, and must be Massachusetts registered 501(c)3 nonprofits or cultural affiliates whose primary mission must be to promote access, excellence, diversity, or education in the arts, humanities, or sciences.
