The Community Development Department (CDD) is excited to kick off the public engagement process for updating Central Square’s zoning. Guided by community goals identified in prior planning efforts, the recommendations will focus on increasing housing, creating public spaces to build community, and supporting our diverse retail, cultural, and non-profit community.
Please join us virtually on May 30th from 6:00-7:30pm for the first of three community meetings. The project team will introduce the process and timeline, recap the established community goals, frame the key issues, review the C2 zoning recommendations, and share methods for communicating your thoughts and ideas. We encourage anyone interested to join us for a robust conversation and provide feedback to the planning team!
