Visit your Neighborhood Fire House, Thursday, October 31st, 4 - 6 pm

There will be Halloween Open House at all Cambridge Fire Houses on Thursday, October 31, from  4- 6 p.m. 

except:

  • Station 1/Headquarters at 491 Broadway, (which is closed for reconstruction) and
  • Station 6 on River Street. (Engine 6 will participate in the City of Cambridge Halloween Event on the City Hall lawn from 2-6 p.m.) You can visit with your Engine 6 firefighters at City Hall.

 

Stop by and visit your neighborhood fire house. Meet your firefighters and check out the fire apparatus, tools, and equipment. Feel free to ask questions about fire safety and your Cambridge Fire Department.

If you're in the neighborhood, be sure to stop by and visit the temporary fire house on Hovey Av!

Feel free to wear your Halloween costume. Take a photo and send it to us.

  • Candy will also be distributed to visitors. Thank you to our friends at Cambridge Brands for donating the Halloween candy.
  • The first thirty kids at each fire house will also be given a coupon for 1 scoop (kid size) of Ice Cream, courtesy of our friends at JP Licks.
  • Glow sticks will also be distributed.

Remember that the fire companies are in service during the Open House and they may have to leave to respond to an emergency call.

  • Station 5 - Inman Square
  • Station 8 - Taylor Square
  • Station 9 - Lexington Avenue
