Community Safety Department Requesting Funding Proposals From Organizations to Provide Violence Prevention Programs or Services

The Cambridge Community Safety Department (CSD) is requesting funding proposals from organizations that provide violence prevention programs and/or services in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Both nonprofit organizations eligible to enter into grant agreements as defined by M.G.L. c. 30B with the city and those business organizations that provide the services outlined in the Scope of Services but otherwise are not eligible to enter into such grant agreements are encouraged to submit a proposal.

Selected organizations are eligible to receive between $51,000.00 and $150,000.00 in awarded funding, per award, for FY25 (7/1/2024 through 6/30/2025). These funding amounts set forth are the effective budget parameters for all proposals. The actual amounts of funding for each contract will be determined by the City and dependent on approved scopes of services and budgets. The City may award up to Ten (10) contracts as a result of this RFP.

Questions from proposers concerning the Request for Proposals must be submitted in writing by 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2024, to Elizabeth Unger, by email at: Purchasing@cambridgema.gov.
