Registration for the 2025 Shoot Straight Basketball League opens on December 6! Offered by Cambridge Recreation and Shoot Straight Inc., the instructional basketball league is open to Cambridge youth in grades 3-6. The goal of the program is to teach young athletes basketball skills, team play, and sportsmanship.
Shoot Straight Basketball League will run for 10 weeks from Saturday, January 4 through Saturday, March 8 at the War Memorial Recreation Center / CRLS Al Coccoluto Gym (1640 Cambridge St. Door 15). Each session will provide a combination of skills instruction and game play. The cost to participate in the league is $50 per child.
To register for Shoot Straight, please return a completed registration form and $50 fee to the Department of Human Service Programs, c/o George Rodriguez, Cambridge Recreation, 51 Inman St. Please pay by cash or check made payable to Shoot Straight, Inc.
Additional information about the league is available on the registration form. Registration will remain open until all league spots are filled.
