Designated Historic Landmarks Map

Screenshot of the Historic Landmarks map showing a map of Cambridge with the properties highlighted by type.

The Designated Historic Landmarks Map has been updated to include more pictures and filters to view properties by age.

Landmark designation requires a vote by the City Council; it is a tool that can protect properties of high significance. Subsequent alterations require the approval of the Cambridge Historical Commission.  The colors of the location pins on the map refer to the original use of the landmark building. The current use may differ.
