City of Cambridge to Host Danehy Park Family Day September 21

Danehy Park Family Day

The City of Cambridge will once again host Danehy Park Family Day on Saturday, September 21, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Danehy Park is a 55-acre facility located at 99 Sherman Street in North Cambridge (adjacent to Garden and New Streets). The event rain date is September 28, 2024.  
 
Enjoy a fun-filled day of children’s amusement rides, activities, arts and crafts, music, and roving performers, plus food and other giveaways (while supplies last). This free community event, sponsored by the City of Cambridge, attracts nearly 10,000 people annually and offers something for everyone.  
 
Free shuttle buses will be running throughout Cambridge to provide transportation. Additionally, Danehy Park can be reached by public transportation, #74 bus or #78 bus from Harvard Square, #83 bus from Central Square; or a shuttle bus from the Alewife MBTA Station.
