A study from 2015 found that the economic impact of local arts and cultural organizations and their audiences resulted in more than $7 million dollars of revenue to the City of Cambridge. As the sector continues to recover, the City of Cambridge is launching a new effort to understand the current impact and activity of the arts and culture sector.
Cambridge Arts and the City Manager's Office, in partnership with Americans for the Arts, is conducting the study Arts & Economic Prosperity 6 (AEP6). This is a study of the economic and social impact of the arts in Cambridge.
More information on surveying efforts to come. If you are interested in participating, please contact Claudia Zarazua at czarazua@cambridgema.gov.
