    • Check-in on Commissioner’s experiences during COVID-19 shutdown
    • Follow-up from any Commissioner’s attendance at recent virtual conferences, workshops or forum about civil rights topics

       

  6. New Business:
    • George Floyd’s death and public response
    • Defund Police movement
    • Disparate impact of COVID closures on POC
    • Supreme Court decision on LGBTQ+ rights (in employment and beyond)

       

  7. Outreach:
    • $15,000 HUD Partnership Grant approved and appropriated

       

  8. Future Planning:
    • Reschedule CPSD Dep. Supt. Turk and Dir. of Diversity & Development, Ramon DeJesus for future meeting
    • Reschedule Cliff Cook (City Demographer) for future meeting
  9. On the bench
  • Co-Chair Stadlan’s research into case files on recurrent issues/locations for housing complaints (work in progress)

Although the public comments should, whenever possible, address one or more items on the agenda for that particular meeting, if time permits, the Chair may allow a speaker to comment on matters that may not directly address an item on the agenda, but do concern the Commission, or issues of discrimination within the City of Cambridge.
