The Cambridge Community Learning Center (CLC) offers a variety of career opportunities, ranging from teaching, program coordination, and educational advising to administrative support roles.
The CLC has a collaborative work environment. Staff are encouraged to share their interests, skills, and ideas with their colleagues. We pride ourselves on providing quality teaching and advising to adult learners, and we stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in the science of adult learning and practices for teaching and advising.
Our students are mostly low-income Cambridge residents who come from a variety of ethnic, linguistic and racial backgrounds.
We are looking for staff who are:
- Sensitive to the needs of the adult learner population
- Have a commitment to racial equity and a desire to understand and interrupt systemic racism and oppression
- Are passionate about collaborating, problem-solving, and learning new things
- Have the ability to work and interact effectively with iindividuals and groups who have a variety of identities, cultures, backgrounds, and ideologies
