The CLC is a division of the Department of Human Service Programs at the City of Cambridge. We offer a variety of career opportunities. Our positions include teachers, advisors, administrative professionals, and community-based outreach workers.  

The CLC is a collaborative work environment where employees are encouraged to share their interests, skills, and ideas with their colleagues. We pride ourselves on providing quality teaching and advising to adult learners, and we stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in the science of adult learning and practices for teaching and advising. Our students are mostly low-income Cambridge residents who come from a variety of ethnic, linguistic and racial backgrounds.

• Have a commitment to racial equity and a desire to understand and interrupt systemic racism and oppression
• Are passionate about collaborating, problem-solving, and learning new things
• Have the ability to work and interact effectively with iindividuals and groups who have a variety of identities, cultures, backgrounds, and ideologies

• Part-time ESOL Teachers 
• Part-time Math Teachers
• Part-time Reading and HiSET Test Prep Teachers
