Description

On Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 12 p.m. (Noon) to 2 p.m., we will hold our second in-person project open house for the Safety Improvement Project on Cambridge St. Click here to view the project website.

As part of this project, the City will add separated bike lanes to Cambridge Street between Inman Square and Second Street. This will include quick-build changes to the street with new pavement markings, traffic signs, and flex-posts. It will also include the reconstruction of some existing curb ramps, accommodations for outdoor dining, and improvements to bus stops. These changes will require the city to reduce on-street parking to one side of the street at a time.

At this open house, we will introduce the goals of the project, ask attendees about their experiences with the street, gather feedback on safety concerns, and answer questions. We are currently in the planning stages for this project and do not yet have a plan for the street. Your feedback now will help guide us as we develop concepts for community review.

How To Attend

The Open House will take place at the Millers River Apartments at 15 Lambert St. You may drop in anytime from 12 p.m. (noon) to 2 p.m. This will take place inside. Signage will direct visitors to the location inside the building from the entrance on Lambert Street.
