Sidewalk reconstruction will take place during the day, between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Roadway milling will take place overnight between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Drivers and others on the road should expect:
- Single-lane closures around sidewalk reconstruction.
- Overnight detours are planned for the early hours of Thursday, August 3 and Friday, August 4 (between 1:30 a.m. and 5 a.m.) Both northbound lanes (headed from Third Street to Broadway) will close during these times. The detour will begin at Third Street. Vehicles will use Third Street, Gore Street, and Medford Street to go around the closed section of Route 28.
Pedestrians should expect detours around sidewalk construction, which will change as work is completed.
