Traffic Impacts October 12-13

The following events may cause parking and traffic impacts in Cambridge on October 12-13.

  • Found Cambridge Block Party. The weekly Found Cambridge FOUND Block Party will take place on Saturday, October 12, from 12-5 p.m. Columbia St will be closed between Bishop Allen Drive & Main St., from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

  • CommonCares’s 25th Anniversary Block Party. CommonCares’s 25th Anniversary block party held on Sellers St., between Green St. and Mass Ave next to St. Peter's Church on Saturday October 12, from 4-7 p.m. That portion of Sellers St. will be closed from 2-8 p.m.

  • Harvard Square Black Owned Business Pop-up Market. The weekly Black Owned Business Pop-up in Harvard Square will take place on Palmer Street every Sunday from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Palmer Street will be closed Sunday, October 13, from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.

  • The Comedy Studio Street Party. An opening celebration for the Comedy Studio will be held on Sunday, October 13 from 2-6 p.m. on JFK St., between Mt. Auburn St. and Mass Ave. The street will be closed from 12-8 p.m. The event will include comedians, a beer garden, vendors, food and more.

  • Indigenous People's Day Cambridge. The Central Square BID will host an Indigenous People's Day event on Monday, October 14, from 12-6 p.m., in University Park. Sidney Street will be closed from Franklin Street to Pilgrim Street from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. The event celebrates Indigenous Peoples, and includes traditional Indigenous music and dance performances, storytelling sessions that highlight the history, resilience, and cultural practices of local tribes, Indigenous art displays and live craft demonstrations, local Indigenous food vendors serving traditional cuisine, and family-friendly activities for all ages.
