North Cambridge Senior Center's Documentary Photography Class Featured at Porter Square Books

Photos displayed on the wall of a bookstore as part of a photography exhibit

The North Cambridge Senior Center is proud to announce that photographs from its Documentary Photography Class will be on display at Porter Square Books (1815 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge) throughout the month of April. This exhibition follows a successful showing at the North Cambridge Senior Center this past February, highlighting the incredible talent and perspectives of our local photographers.

The class, which meets every Friday from 3 – 4:30 p.m., offers participants the opportunity to explore the art of documentary photography, capturing everyday moments and meaningful stories through their lenses. Guided by an experienced local photographer, the participants have developed their skills while building connections and celebrating their creativity.

“We are thrilled to see our participants’ work showcased at Porter Square Books,” said Jerry Russo, Documentary Photography instructor at the North Cambridge Senior Center. “Their photographs tell compelling stories and reflect the vibrant experiences of our community.”

The exhibition at Porter Square Books offers a chance for the wider community to appreciate these unique visual narratives and celebrate the creativity and perspectives of our local photographers. We hope you will stop by and enjoy the exhibition!
