English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) are offered by the Literacy Center in the Central Square Branch. ESOL classes are free to the public and do not require registration to attend. The Library offers a variety of free workshops and resources for personal projects in The Hive, the Library's STEAM Makerspace. The Hive offers the following workshops:

  • Glowforge 101
  • Sewing
  • 3D Printing
  • Studio Recording
  • Videography
  • Equipment and Studio Reservation
  • Hive Safety Training
  • and more!

The Hive is open to individuals with a Minuteman library card. The space is designed for independent use for patrons ages 12 and up and supervised use for children under the age of 12. To learn more, visit The Hive Makerspace.
