Low-Cost Rabies Vaccination Clinic (Dogs Only) and Annual Dog Licensing

Description

A Cambridge rabies vaccination clinic (for dogs only) and annual dog licensing for Cambridge residents will be held behind the Department of Public Works. This event is open to all.

Rabies vaccine cost is $15 per dog. Cash or checks only will be accepted. Rabies vaccinations are required by Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 140, section 137, for every dog 6 months or older. Proof of rabies vaccination certificate with an expiration date or copy of medical records with rabies expiration date will help determine if dogs are eligible for a three year shot instead of a one year shot, without the proof.

Dog licensing cost is $10 for Spayed/Neutered Dogs and $30 for Unspayed/Unneutered Dogs. Cash or checks only will be accepted at the event.
