Calendar event imageThe Department of Veterans Services is holding an in-person Veterans Appreciation Week November 13-17.

Each of the following events will provide an opportunity for veterans and their loved ones to gather and participate in health, wellness, and other fun and interactive activities. Free food and refreshments will also be available each day from 12-4 p.m.

Monday, November 13
10-11 a.m. Fitness activities (low impact and core strengthening)
11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Nutrition Workshop (healthy meal prepping)
2-4 p.m. Group Auricular Acupuncture

Tuesday, November 14
11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Group Auricular Acupuncture
2-4 p.m. Photography workshop (includes a complementary headshot)

Wednesday, November 15
12-2 p.m. Group Auricular Acupuncture
2-4 p.m. Pop-up Painting (create your own painting with our instructor)

Thursday, November 16
2-4 p.m. Guided Meditation (relaxation techniques; learn to quiet your mind)

Friday, November 17
1 p.m. Free tour of Washington's former headquarters and a National Historic Site, the Longfellow House, 105 Brattle St., Cambridge.
Limited to 12 veterans. RSVP to Veterans@cambridgema.gov. More details to follow.
