Description

The 2024 Commonwealth of Massachusetts Municipal Firefighter Entrance Examination is scheduled for October, 2024. The Application deadline is Tuesday, August 27, 2024.

Start the process now to become a Cambridge Firefighter. Cambridge Fire Department (CFD) will host an Information Session on Monday, August 19, from 5-7 p.m., in the Cambridge Public Library Community Room, 449 Broadway.  During this information session, Cambridge residents can learn about and sign up for the 2024 Civil Service Exam, ask questions about the hiring process, and learn about what a career at CFD has to offer.
