Walking Tour of Harvard Square

The Harvard Square Advisory Committee will meet in person for a walking tour of the Square. This walk is part of HSAC’s ongoing discussion on the opportunities and challenges to pedestrianization in Harvard Square and will include updates on current pedestrianization and public realm projects. Daniel Wolf, Neighborhood Planner with the Community Development Department, will highlight past, present, and future sites of interest. Members of the public are welcome to attend the walking tour; no reservations are necessary.

Participants are asked to meet in Winthrop Park at 83 Winthrop Street, Cambridge, MA 02138. The group will gather at the park entrance nearest to the intersection of Mt. Auburn Street and JFK Street.

The walk will be approximately 0.5 to 1 miles in distance and is expected to last about 1.5 hours.
