Have you ever wondered about the science behind popular astronomy-themed brand names? For instance, did you know that the candy bar "Milky Way" is named after our home galaxy? Or that “Subaru” is named after a star cluster? In this interactive session, MIT Professor Anna Frebel will explore how various brands draw inspiration from astronomical terms and phenomena. “POP! Astronomy” is an educational video series featuring MIT undergraduate students who share the science behind these popular brand names.
