What do our stories about human-machine synthesis tell us about our hopes for technology and the future? Can cyborgs be a way to imagine better futures for all? Can we imagine utopian futures free from race, gender, and class-linked systems of oppression? Can we imagine new ways of tackling these problems with the help of cyborg technologies? Authors Laura Forlano and Danya Glabau address and discuss these issues and more as presented in their book, Cyborg.
