The purpose of this design public hearing is to provide the public with the opportunity to become fully acquainted with the proposed bridge superstructure replacement project. There will be an opportunity for public comment and questions following the presentation. All pubic comments will be considered to the extent practical.
This project will include replacing the bridge superstructure which carries Alewife Brook Parkway, US Rte 3, Rte 16, and Rte 2 over the MBTA Redline tunnel. MassDOT invites you to attend the design public hearing to learn more about the need for the project, the work to be performed, the schedule, potential impacts to the public (including vehicular and pedestrians/bicyclists), and the next steps.
