Description

Pursuant to Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2023 adopted by Massachusetts General Court and approved by the Governor, the Cambridge Retirement System is authorized to use remote participation at meetings of the Board. This will be a hybrid meeting, held in-person at 125 CambridgePark Drive and also via videoconference.     Vote to consider the regular minutes of the meeting held on October 7, 2024. Vote to consider the executive session minutes of the meeting held on October 7, 2024.

    Vote to consider payment of warrant #20 in the amount of $9,648,884.52 and warrant #21 in the amount of $177,766.59.
  3. Superannuations
    Vote to consider the Superannuation retirement applications submitted by: Ellen Deraney, Library Assistant, School Dept. with eleven years, five months; Robin Heafey, Senior Clinical Pharmacist Specialist, Cambridge Health Alliance with twenty years, ten months; Michael Padua, Patrol Officer, Police Dept. with twenty-nine years, six months; Marilyn Rottersman, Building Substitute, School Dept. with ten years, one month.
  4. Redeposits / Make-up / Liability
    Vote to consider the make-up of prior service for: 1. Karen M. Thomas, three years, six months; Vote to consider the redeposit of refunds for: 1. Jennifer A. Amigone, one year, eight months; 2. Regina J. Walker, five years.
  5. Refund Applications
    Vote to consider nine refund applications submitted in October.
  6. Accidental Disability Benefit - Elizabeth Vendetti
    Vote to consider the reports of the medical panel in the application for Accidental Disability benefits filed by Elizabeth Vendetti, Parking Control Officer in the Traffic Dept.. Ms. Vendetti is represented by Attorney Steven Bergel, who will appear remotely.
  7. Involuntary Superannuation - Carl Pilgrim
    Vote to consider the involuntary Superannuation application filed by the Cambridge Police Dept. on behalf of Carl Pilgrim, a Patrol Officer. Mr. Pilgrim is represented by Attorney Alan McDonald, who will appear remotely.
  8. Accidental Disability Application - Arshad Mehmood
    Vote to consider the Accidental Disability application filed by Arshad Mehmood, a Laborer in the Dept. of Public Works. Mr. Mehmood is represented by Attorney Patrick Tracy, who will appear remotely.
  9. Eastern Bank Annual Presentation
    Eastern Bank representatives will present their report to the Board. Denis Sheahan and David Rosato will appear in-person.
  10. PERAC Audit Finding on Hazardous Duty Pay
    Vote to consider draft correspondence to PERAC in connection with the audit finding affecting hazardous duty pay.
  11. 2025 Proposed Meeting Schedule
    Vote to consider a draft schedule for Retirement Board meetings in 2025.
